    FIRST OF ITS KIND
    BACH ON VEENA
  • Punya srinivas ambition to tag veena as a unlimited instrument extended her in working hard to achieve producing original western scores on the traditional Indian classical instrument, which is known for its gamaka system, is widely appreciated. She recently performed Bach Double violin concerto with violin maestro V.S.Narasimhan at Chennai to a packed house.This is first of its kind on veena.

  • Performed Solo Veena Concerto for the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of UNITED NATIONS (UNO) in NEWYORK.
  • In her fusion concerts at France and Paris with the world renowned London based POP Singer Suseela Raman, Punya Srinivas created waves for her western adaptation on Veena.
  • Performed Veena concertos written by renowned Belgian composer HANS VERMEESH at BELGIUM, BRUSSELS
  • The TAM - TAM FESTIVAL at Israel , Jerusalem brought her outstanding reviews.
  • Participated in SUNAADHA PRAVAHAM a Carnatic Classical Symphony composed by violin maestro SRI. LALGUDI JAYARAMAN, which was premiered at famous VICTORIA HALL Singapore, 2004
